The only cornbread stuffing that should be served during the holidays. Homemade with fresh vegetables, pecans, hard-boiled eggs and seasoned with sage, this traditional stuffing is perfect to serve alongside a juicy turkey for Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner.

  • 10 cups homemade cornbread crumbled, my skillet cornbread recipe yields the perfect amount
  • 1 cup green bell pepper(s) finely chopped
  • 1 cup green onion finely chopped
  • ½ cup celery finely chopped
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 5 eggs hard-boiled and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sage or to taste
  • ¾ teaspoon kosher salt or to taste
  • 1 stick unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cups turkey stock may replace with chicken stock
