As most of you know, I was born in Honduras. My whole life, though, I was very involved (and enthralled) in the American culture. I went to “The American School” in Honduras, I’ve spoken both Spanish and English since I was little, my family and I frequented the United States, and some of my very best friends in school were American. I never saw my mom put away any of her everyday decorations during Christmas, instead she would just add the Christmas ones. In my opinion, this caused for visual clutter, so when I finally realized the key was to switch everything...

For years we have wanted to make a Christmas card. Every year we swear we will have one ready by the end of November. Every year, December 25th rolls around and…no Christmas card. We were determined not to let another year go by without getting it done. Ryan even set a reminder on his phone a year ago so we wouldn’t forget! Well, it worked! 18 years of marriage and 5 kids later, we finally made a Christmas card! Since it was such a momentous occasion for us 😉 I thought I’d share it with you and show you...
