By now, you’ve probably guessed that I love my Instant Pot! It has been a game-changer for my cooking. It has allowed me to make meals that I would never make at a moment’s notice otherwise. I’ve been able to recreate some of my mom’s recipes that I was always afraid to try because of the time and effort involved in them, like Arroz con Leche and Hawaiian Chicken. It is much easier now to make a home-cooked, hearty meal when I don’t have a lot of time. I could go on and on, but I’ll spare you!

AozitaStackable Steamer Pans
perfect for pot in pot cooking
I own these stackable pans and they are great! They are very sturdy and fit nicely in my 8-quart, and will also fit the 6-quart. You can use them to separate foods you don’t want touching while cooking. I love using them for making a double batch of my flan. Two pans are always better than one!
Euro CuisineGreek Yogurt Maker
make your favorite yogurt at home
Making yogurt in a pressure cooker is so easy and this strainer helps strain the whey out so you’ll have the delicious, thick greek yogurt you love. Just make your yogurt in the pressure cooker and then strain it to your desired consistency using this accessory. You can also keep the whey in the container in the fridge. Great quality product. I own it and love it. Making yogurt has never been so easy!
Nordic Ware3-Cup Bundt Pan
make the most beautiful little cakes
This cute mini bundt pan fits perfectly in your pressure cooker. It’s great for making a small dessert. This size bundt pan is ideal for making any of my mini cakes, including my delicious Lemon Mini Bundt. I own several of them as well as the 6 cup version. Both the 3 cup and 6 cup fit in most pressure cookers. Do note, it’s not dishwasher safe. You have to wash it by hand to keep it in great condition.
steam your favorite vegetables
A steamer basket is an absolute must for steaming veggies in the pressure cooker. Lots of my readers have ordered this one and love it. It’s perfect for steaming large quantities of veggies like corn, broccoli or cauliflower. It comes in two sizes to fit any of your pots. Get ready to start steaming tons of veggies!
Instant PotGlass Lid
an Instant Pot essential
This tempered glass lid is perfect for when you’re sautéing, slow cooking or making yogurt in your Instant Pot. It’s tempered glass and has a stainless steel rim and handle. You know it will fit your pot perfectly since it’s Instant Pot brand!
Instant PotMini Mitts
thick heat resistant silicone mitts
I love my mini mitts!! They are by far my favorite accessory of all and I use them daily. They are so helpful when taking stuff out of the Instant Pot. They’re a must when taking out the small ramekins I use to make my Turtle Lava Cakes. These have to be the most handy pair of mitts that I have in my kitchen. Plus, they have lasted forever.
Instant PotColored Sealing Rings
avoid mixing sweet and savory flavors
I’m so glad that Instant Pot came out with these colored rings. They are perfect for changing them out between sweet and savory meals. This way I can make my Arroz con Leche and know that it won’t taste like Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork! These rings really are handy to have.
handy for hard-boiled eggs
I love making eggs in my Instant Pot and this set of egg racks with egg bite mold are perfect for that. The racks are stackable and allow me to make lots of hard boiled eggs at once. You can also use them as regular racks. The shorter rack can double as a regular trivet as well. They’re perfect for making deviled eggs since placing the eggs small tip down will keep the yolks centered. And the silicone egg bite mold will let you make tasty egg bites in no time.
Instant PotSilicone Lid
perfect for storing leftovers
I love this lid for big meals we cook ahead of time and leftovers. When we have leftovers, which doesn’t happen too often in my home, it makes it very easy to store in the refrigerator without having to transfer it to another dish and thus increasing my dirty dishes pile.
Jo ChefKitchen Torch
be the master chef of your kitchen
One of my all-time favorite desserts is creme brûlée, and this torch is amazing for caramelizing the sugar on top. I have one of these torches and love using it every time I make creme brûlée in the pressure cooker. This torch is perfect for finishing off the perfect dessert. I’ve even used it to brown cheese on individual portions on pasta. It’s a nifty little torch.
Gorilla GripSilicone Oven Mitts
the ultimate protection from heat
These oven mitts are perfect for handling the liner of the Instant Pot. I love that they are a high quality product, but at the same time, they are cute as can be! And these mitts offer the best protection from hot items. No more burning your hands!
Quick & CarryQuick & Carry Bag
the easy way to transport your pot
I love my Quick & Carry bag! It is so sturdy and has so much room for everything I need when taking my pressure cooker out of the house. It has lots of extra storage space for accessories as well. They offer two sizes, one for 6-quart and one for 8-quart pressure cookers. This bag is perfect for when you need to travel with your pressure cooker. My only wish is that they made one in aqua!
Fat DaddioPush Pan
ideal for any cake recipe
I love my Fat Daddio push pan! I use it when making lasagna or cheesecake in my pressure cooker. It’s one of the more popular accessories for electric pressure cookers. You can also make other casseroles in it as well. It’s a great little pan! So, if you’re wanting to make a cheesecake or lasagna in your pot, you’ll definitely want to pick up one of these push pans.
Worthy LinersParchment Liners
easy cleanup and saves time
These are awesome for lining your push pan or springform pan. I bought these for when I make cheesecakes or other desserts in my push pan. They fit the pan just right, and make for a much easier clean-up. If you buy the pan, I highly recommend you get a pack of these. They’re very inexpensive and well worth the cleanup time you’ll save.
ENJ ProductsSilicone Molds
perfect for egg bites and small desserts
I got these to be able to make the famous egg bites. These silicone molds are also great for small portion desserts like brownies and cakes. I love how they perform! Nothing sticks to them even though I don’t spray them with oil. They fit perfectly into my pot, are durable, and dishwasher safe. Cleaning is a breeze. One note: don’t use the plastic lid that comes with them in the pressure cooker. You must try those famous egg bites!
The Pioneer WomanDecorative Ramekins
serve baked treats with country charm
These little ramekins are so cute and I use them so much. They are perfect for so many of the recipes I cook in my pot. I make my Turtle Lava Cakes in them, I also serve my Arroz con Leche in them. I even use them to hold the au jus when I make French Dip sandwiches.
Nordic Ware6-Cup Bundt Pan
perfect for instant pot cakes
I love this little bundt pan. It comes in two colors, but it’s luck of the draw what color you get. Both are nice colors though. It’s perfect for making banana bread or even meatloaf in the pot!
cheesecake and more in the pressure cooker
This is a popular pan for making cheesecake or lasagna in the pressure cooker. I have one and have used it to make cheesecake and lasagna. I haven’t decided whether I prefer the springform or the push pan. I have used them both interchangeably. This pan fits in both 6 and 8 quart pressure cookers. It can also be used for baking in the oven, is easy to clean, and dishwasher safe.
OXO Good GripsCollapsible Steamer Basket
easy to clean and compact veggie steamer
If you’re looking for a steamer basket that takes up less space when stored, this one is the best. It’s perfect for steaming vegetables in the pressure cooker. I use mine for corn, other veggies, and even lobster tails! You can also use it as a fruit bowl, egg cooker, cake bowl, colander or strainer. It’s super handy. And, it’s compact for easy storing, easy to clean, made of high quality stainless steel, and dishwasher safe!
handy for removing the hot liner
These pot grippers are perfect for when you’re using the pot-in-pot method of cooking in the Instant Pot. They grip to the inner pots for easy, safe lifting. They’re also great for lifting the hot liner out of the Instant Pot without getting burned. Use this handy tool to lift a number of other cold or hot items as well.
make perfect flan with this mold
This flan pan is amazing! It is one of my favorite accessories. I got it when I was perfecting my flan recipe and I can’t tell you what a difference it made! The flan slides right out, and there’s minimal caramel “stickage”. By far, out of all the pans I used to make flan, this was the best performer! It is sturdy and the flan comes out perfect every time. The lid on it is an awesome bonus!
Instant PotReplacement Sealing Ring
an integral part of instant pot safety
So this isn’t an exciting accessory but I feel it’s a necessity to have an extra ring for your Instant Pot. I definitely recommend getting the Instant Pot brand ring to make sure it fits your pot properly. You never know when your ring will wear out.
Instant PotInner Cooking Pot
easily prepare multiple dishes
This is the next best thing to having two Instant Pots! You don’t know how many times I’ve wanted to immediately start another dish in the pot, but couldn’t because I had to clean up the liner, and the sink was already full of dishes. This would definitely solve the problem!
AozitaSteamer Basket Rack
easily cook food side-by-side
You’ll love this nifty steamer basket with removable dividers. The unique dividers make cooking multiple items side-by-side easy and convenient. It’s stainless steel, dishwasher safe, and comes in a set with a rack and a few other items. Really handy!
Well, the first, and most important item you will need is an Instant Pot. So, if you don’t already have one, now is the time to get one. And, if you do already have one, then the only thing better than having one Instant Pot is having two (or more). There are many models of Instant Pots available, but these are my favorites.

It seems like yesterday when I was trolling your page. Im pretty sure I was there every day….soaking up every tidbit of information, I could possibly glean. I had already received my 6 qt LUX, as a gift, but was afraid to use it! How many times have we heard that now? Your group gave me courage, and the desire to actually use it, and not just brag about having it! ( I now have 3 pots, but my LUX is still my “first love”❤I remember searching this very same list, and Im proud to say that I have almost everything on this list, at your recommendation! Thank you Valerie , for always being approachable, and ready to lend a helping hand. For all the Newbies, Congratulations! You have come to the right group. Valerie is by far the very best friend and partner, for your Instant pot journey! Hold on tight, we’ve been known to kick up our heels, and giggle a lot too.

Can most of the recipes for 3 cup Bundt be doubled for 6 cup with adjustments for cook time?
Hi Edie! You should be able to double the recipes without a problem, but you will definitely have to make adjustments on cooking time in this case. Thanks for stopping by!
Thank you so much for the accessories list. That is awesome. I can’t wait to try your lemon cake recipe. Do you have a cook book?
Hi Mary! You’re very welcome! I don’t have a cookbook yet! Stay tuned. Thanks for stopping by!
I have the mini pot – are there any ramekins out there that are small enough for 3 to fit in it? They would need to be no more than 3″ across. Right now I’m going to try some cheesecake in small glasses.
Hi Betty! I’m not sure if there are but I have a 3qt as well so I’ll look around and try to find some!
I would like to have a non-stick baking/cake pot to put on top of the trivet in the Instant Pot. One that has a handle (folding) so it would be easy to remove from the hot pot. I have seen them in videos of people cooking with them but can’t find any for sale!! Thanks
Thank you so much Valerie, your an Angel.
Thank you for the help with the pot. I have the 6qt. The very first thing i want to get is the pan for the cheesecake. Not the spring form but the other one. Can you tell me which depth to get. I didn’t know there were different sides. But i want as much as I can make.
Hi Sandy! The push pan I have is 7” diameter and 3” high. I use it in my 8 qt. Hope this helps!
Thank you so much… Very helpful!
I would like to know how to separate the stackable pans. I could separate them after using in the instant pot. I love them otherwise. I want to use them but am afraid because I couldn’t separate them
Hi Shirley! So they got stuck after you used them in the IP? Mine separate with ease when I make something. Several thoughts about it, could the bottom one have been too full and it caused food to get stuck between them? Are they stuck together right now? If so, I would soak them for a while in order to separate them. Let me know more!
