Must-Have Instant Pot Accessories

The Ultimate Must-Haves Guide To Instant Pot Accessories

By now, you’ve probably guessed that I love my Instant Pot! It has been a game changer for my cooking. It has allowed me to make meals that I would never make at a moment’s notice otherwise. I’ve been able to recreate some of my mom’s recipes that I was always afraid to try because of the time and effort involved in them, like Arroz con Leche and Hawaiian Chicken. It is much easier now to make a home cooked, hearty meal when I don’t have a lot of time. I could go on and on, but I’ll spare you!

And, if you do already have one, then the only thing better than having one Instant Pot is having two (or more). • Betty says:

I have the mini pot – are there any ramekins out there that are small enough for 3 to fit in it? They would need to be no more than 3″ across. Right now I’m going to try some cheesecake in small glasses.

  • Linda K. says:

I would like to have a non-stick baking/cake pot to put on top of the trivet in the Instant Pot. One that has a handle (folding) so it would be easy to remove from the hot pot. I have seen them in videos of people cooking with them but can’t find any for sale!! Thanks

  • Sandy says:

Thank you so much Valerie, your an Angel.

  • Sandy says:

Thank you for the help with the pot. I have the 6qt. The very first thing i want to get is the pan for the cheesecake. Not the spring form but the other one. Can you tell me which depth to get. I didn’t know there were different sides. But i want as much as I can make.

  • Diana Weidlich says:

Thank you so much… Very helpful!

  • Shirley monroe says:

I would like to know how to separate the stackable pans. I could separate them after using in the instant pot. I love them otherwise. I want to use them but am afraid because I couldn’t separate them

    • Valerie Cooper says:

Hi Shirley! So they got stuck after you used them in the IP? Mine separate with ease when I make something. Several thoughts about it, could the bottom one have been too full and it caused food to get stuck between them? Are they stuck together right now? If so, I would soak them for a while in order to separate them. Let me know more!

  • James says:

Thanks Valerie for the wonderful article 🙂 I got this as a gift which includes the same egg bites mold.

Could you please help and let me know: if ever the eggs stick, #1 what is the best way to prevent that from happening and #2 what’s the best way to clean it?

My mother wants to buy the same kit as mine but we both know something bad will probably happen at some point haha. Better safe than sorry.

    Thanks in advance!
    James

    • Valerie Cooper says:

Hi James!! So I’m not familiar with that brand but they look just like mine, so assuming they are the same, I would say spray them with cooking spray when making eggs. That’s what I do and they’ve never stuck. As for cleaning, I leave mine soaking with soapy water for a bit and then usually put them in the dishwasher. Make sure you read your instructions to make sure yours is dishwasher safe. If not, they do clean easily by hand. Thanks for stopping by and happy cooking to you and your mom!!

  • Judy Joiner says:

Great list of accessories! I just love my instant pot.

  • Cathy says:

What size springform pan do u use in your 8 quart?

  • Kathy Arner says:

Thank you so much Valerie!! When starting out it’s nice to know others have “been there and done that”.

    • Thank you Kathy!! Glad you found it helpful!! Ha! You should see my unboxing video bloopers where I couldn’t get the lid on the pot!! Hubby thought it would be funny to add to the end of the video!! Grrr.

  • Kim says:

Thanks so much for sharing I got a IP 5qt for Christmas and I’m excited to learn how to use it.

    • Valerie Cooper says:

Hi Kim! You’ll love your pot once you get used to it! Start with something very easy to get the hang of it! I recommend corn! I have a step by step here on the blog! Thanks for stopping by.

  • Sue Vayette says:

Is there a certain store that you can find most of these items? If so, what store? Thank you so much for sharing..this is very helpful.

    • Valerie Cooper says:

Hi Sue! Most items are online, if you click the “Learn More” button it will take you to where you can buy them. Once in a while at Marshalls or TJ Max you can find a push pan or spring form that will fit the pot. Hope this helps!

  • Diane Healy says:

Where did you purchase these items from

  • honda4fun says:
