Snacks. This is a huge topic at my house, as you can imagine. With 5 kids, pretty much every hour of the day, there’s someone wanting a snack.
If only I had a penny for every time someone asked: “Can I have a snack?”!!

We try to find healthy options for them to snack on. Of course, you can always find chips and some sweets in the house, but we try to encourage them to eat fruit, yogurt, and other healthier options.
My youngest one is a breed of his own! Except for his chip weakness, he definitely prefers healthy food! I have to get creative with his lunch boxes and snacks. It’s usually very healthy eating for him (I know, it’s weird for a 6-year-old!), but believe me, it’s not because of awesome parenting.
He’s the only one.
It’s a fluke.
He loves fruits, vegetables, smoked salmon, yogurt, drinks only water, and is not keen on most sweets. His lunchboxes usually consist of water and a mix of cherry tomatoes, fruit, broccoli, carrots, celery, cheese, crackers, and those sorts of things. So I’m always looking for healthy snack options that I can use not only for him but for the rest of the crew as well.
Oh, and my 16-year-old is in his “health nut” phase as well, so he definitely appreciates a healthy snack being available.
Super Tasty, All-Natural Fruit Snacks for Kids
This summer we got to try a new product that is all-natural, organic, healthy, and believe it or not, delicious! We received a free pack of fruit pouches from Once Upon a Farm so we could give them a try.
Wholesome, Organic Ingredients & Nothing More
These fruit pouches are organic and are refrigerated. Nothing but good stuff in them. You can read all about the company and its products here.
A Quick & Healthy Snack for Kids of All Ages
Now, these are marketed mostly for babies, but all my kids 6-17 are fans of fruit pouches. I’m just not a fan of all the non-fruit stuff that’s packed in most of them. So I was very excited to try these to see what my kids thought.
We got everyone together at the kitchen island, and told them we were going to taste test a new snack!
Of course, they were all in!
We took turns trying out all the different flavors we received, and each kid picked a favorite.
My older son loved their Wild Rumpus Avocado one!
Well, the taste test was a huge success!!
Tons of Fun & Delicious Flavors
Once Upon a Farm’s flavors are so much fun! My kids’ favorite, by far, was their Applesauce Adventures line.
Their “Sweet as Apple Pie” flavor is ridiculously good! Seriously tastes like apple pie!!
The Fairest of Pears was also so delicious!! We got to try so many flavors, and we had a lot of fun doing it!
All The Kids Wanted More
The kids all agreed that they definitely wanted me to get them some more!
Available Nationwide at Select Grocers and Online
In my neck of the woods, you can find Once Upon a Farm fruit pouches at Whole Foods and certain Kroger stores in refrigerated cases. If you order them online, straight from their store, they come very well packed in a box with a special liner and plenty of ice packs.
So Happy With Our New Find
I’m very happy when I find a new product that I can tell you about that I think you will love.
My family was so pleased with Once Upon a Farm fruit pouches! I’m happy because I know the kids are getting a great, healthy product, and they’re happy with the way it tastes!
Win-win!
Can’t beat that!
